This Web-quest is intended for students in grades 11-12
This Web-quest covers standard:
USH.5.5 Describe Hitler’s "final solution" policy and explain the Allied responses to the Holocaust and war crimes. (Government; Geography; Individuals, Society and Culture)
and covers the following objectives:
The Web- quest incorporates technology into the classroom and contains all of the necessary materials needed to understand this subject. Students should be able to navigate this site clearly and effectively as well as efficiently.
The Introduction page includes an opening statement from a fictional speaker and explains what the students will learn through the Web- Quest.
The Task page provides a short video used to inform students about how Hitler came into power and then gives the students what they will be doing on this Web- Quest
The Process page contains all of the websites and resources students will be using to complete the end assessments.
The Evaluation page includes a worksheet that students must complete ON A SEPARATE RESOURCE ie. paper, google drive, etc., and an end quiz.
The Conclusion page provides a congratulatory end statement and a list of what the students now know after completing the Web- Quest.
The Credits page contains all of the resources used to create this Web-quest. Feel free to use them for other activities.
